Trauma & PTSD

Trauma & PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) can be extremely complex and it can live in our bodies manifesting in a myriad of ways... such as having a shattered sense of safety and security, flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, insomnia and fatigue, intrusive negative thoughts, distressing memories, aggression, an inability to trust or connect with others, eating disorders and social withdrawal. 


Whatever the causes of your post traumatic stress, and whenever it occurred, if it is causing you psychological and emotional distress and suffering, Hypnotherapy can help you heal, by overcoming the pain, regaining your sense of self and finding inner peace. 


Whilst this is not an exhaustive list, examples of traumatic events and experiences can include:
